Marketing Assistant

Lucent Lighting is an established UK lighting manufacturer working with designers and supplying projects nationally and internationally.

As part of our rapid expansion program we are seeking to recruit a Marketing Assistant to support our Sales and Creative team.

Based at our sales and showroom facility in North London, the successful applicant will be required to maintain our CRM database, provide regular updates and news via our website and company Social media platforms, and prepare and dispatch regular newsletters.

The applicant should show creative flair in their previous roles and have a good level of communications skills.

They will be required to organize and co-ordinate exhibitions and events worldwide and liaise with trade titles and produce press releases to publicise new product launches or projects of note that Lucent has been involved with.

A competent level of IT skills will be required with training provided for any specific programs.

Lighting Applications Assistant 

Based in North London, Lucent Lighting continues to pioneer innovative ideas, and within the lighting industry has one of the most comprehensive ranges of LED downlight solutions available.

We strive to design, manufacture and supply lighting products which meet the aesthetic and technical specifications of our clients and maintain our position as the first choice partner for a number of prestigious projects both at home and internationally.

We are looking for a suitable candidate to work with in the technical/applications team at our Technical Office in Enfield as a Lighting Applications Assistant on a permanent, fulltime basis, reporting to the Applications Manager. This junior role could suit a bright, self-motivated school/college leaver, or a person looking to get into the technical side of the Lighting Industry, their core day to day functions include:

Photometric testing of Lucent ProSpex luminaires with Lucent’s own brand and other LED modules. Including running the tests and keeping clear records of the testing and generating ies / ldt files to upload to our website. Knowledge of photometry ideal, but full training will be given.

Product testing. The Role entails being involved in the electrical, mechanical and thermal testing of new and existing products for the Lucent ProSpex range, including setting up and running tests, keeping clear records of the testing carried out and being able to generate reports on the findings. A basic level of electrical/electronic knowledge and computer skills preferable, but again full training will be given.

Assisting with the day-to-day technical support aspects, such as dealing with clients telephone or email enquiries in a prompt and efficient manner. Assisting in the resolution of customer product issues. Product training will be provided, but a basic level of electrical/electronic knowledge is preferable.

Salary dependent on experience
